These are images from a reading at Beyond Baroque, Venice, CA, of the poetry anthology “Walking through a River of Fire: 100 Years of Triangle Fire Poetry” edited by Julia Stein with an introduction by Jack Hirschman. The poems’ different voices have a dramatic narrative. The event featured Julia Stein (poet/editor/anti-sweatshop activist), Hilton Obenzinger (writer of “Busy Dying”), Alice Elizabeth Rogoff (winner of the 2004 Blue Light Press Book Award), and Elaine Ocasio, (writer/performer of “All I Ever Wanted.”)
