We wrote about the Triangle fire in part because things haven’t changed in 100 years. Look at the tragedies around the world : the Gulf platform fire which killed 11 workers or the tragedy in the West Virginia mine where 29 workers were killed. You feel that not much has changed; business values profit over people. Look at the recent fire in Bangladesh – eerily similar to the Triangle Fire : doors were locked, and people jumped from the building. The system is still universal and problematic.
