Students at IS 190 in the Bronx created a memorial for the victims of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire. We created silhouettes by tracing students’ heads. Then we shrunk the images using the copy machine. Students’ wrote a victim’s age, name, cause of death and country of origin on the silhouettes.
