Florence Kelley fought for women’s, children’s & workers’ rights; Mary White Ovington helped found the NAACP; Sara Josephine Baker revolutionized child healthcare; Luisa Capetillo organized Puerto Rican laborers & Jovita Idar worked for Mexican American rights. Lugenia Burns Hope brought community services to African American Atlanta.
