This pamphlet, published by the NYS Department of Labor, details the life and tragic death of my great-aunt Daisy Lopez Fitze, a victim of the Triangle Factory Fire. The essay, “A Flower for Daisy” is part of a longer work entitled They Were Legal: Balzac y Lopez, The History of an Hispanic Family, New York 1901-1960.
