These are articles and links about Samuel Barfield, NYU employee at the time of the Triangle Fire. As per the articles ,(the NY Times, Washington Afro-American 10/1954) written several years after the fire, Samuel aided in the rescue of several people trapped in the Asch building and received a medal for his actions.
