Narrated by actor Alan Wilder, of Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, this film walks the audience through the tragedies and triumphs in the history of work safety beginning with the horrific March 25, 1911, Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire. The American Society of Safety Engineers was formed in New York City on October 14, 1911, because of the Triangle fire.
